  If someone watched our lives for a week, what would they conclude we pursued to provide satisfaction and security?

  

  Do we believe that “If we’ve got Jesus, we lack nothing”? Paul learned the secret of contentment by rejoicing in Jesus whatever his circumstances. Have you started to learn this, or do you let your circumstances dominate your outlook?

  

  This passage describes giving in terms of worship of God and in terms of investment. How does thinking of giving this way help to motivate us? How will you respond?
